RIDOH reports 1,321 new COVID-19 cases, 10 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 1,321 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Health officials said out of the 11,230 tests administered the state collected a 11.8% positivity rate.

Rhode Island reported 10 additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,263.

There are currently 460 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 35 of these patients are in the ICU while 26 are on a ventilator.
