RIDOH reports 20 new coronavirus cases, two new deaths


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 20 new coronavirus cases and two new deaths for Tuesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 152,613.

Rhode Island reported two additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 2,730.

There are currently 21 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 2 of these patients are in the ICU and 2 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 690,350 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 631,523 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
