RIDOH reports 24 new coronavirus cases, no new deaths


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 24 new coronavirus cases and no new deaths for Wednesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 152,748.

Rhode Island reported no additional deaths, keeping the state’s total to 2,730.

There are currently 28 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 2 of these patients are in the ICU and 3 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 696,304 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 639,267 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
