RIDOH reports 2,865 new COVID-19 cases, 10 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 2,865 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

Health officials said out of the 18,797 tests administered the state collected a 15.2% positivity rate.

Rhode Island reported 10 additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,136.

There are currently 410 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 51 of these patients are in the ICU while 39 are on a ventilator.
