RIDOH reports 35 new coronavirus cases, three new deaths


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 35 new coronavirus cases and three new deaths on Tuesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 152,153.

Rhode Island reported three additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 2,722.

There are currently 44 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 5 of these patients are in the ICU and 5 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 666,436 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 580,407 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
