RIDOH reports 35 new coronavirus cases, three new deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 35 new cases and three new deaths on Wednesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 151,936.

Rhode Island reported three additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 2,715.

There are currently 44 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 8 of these patients are in the ICU and all 8 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 656,176 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 559,801 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
