RIDOH reports 360 new cases of COVID-19, one additional death
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 360 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday.
Health officials said out of the 17,534 tests administered on Wednesday, the state collected a 2.1% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported one additional death, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,636.
There are currently 154 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 28 of these patients are in the ICU while 21 are on a ventilator.
Since mid-December, 394,952 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 275,464 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
The total amount of doses administered sits at 648,334.
