RIDOH reports 38 new coronavirus cases, no new deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 38 new cases and no new deaths on Tuesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total cases to 151,895.

Rhode Island reported no additional deaths, keeping the state’s total at 2,712.

There are currently 48 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 10 of these patients are in the ICU and 9 are on a ventilator.

Since mid-December, 654,651 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 557,289 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
