RIDOH reports 457 new COVID-19 cases, 2 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 457 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
Health officials said out of the 7,149 tests administered the state collected a 6.4% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported two additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,540.
There are currently 67 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that less than 5 of these patients are in the ICU and less than 5 are on a ventilator.
