RIDOH reports 722 new cases of the coronavirus, 13 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health announced the state’s latest COVID-19 data on Wednesday.

RIDOH reported 722 new positive cases of the virus, and an additional 13 fatalities.

The state said 14,532 tests were taken on Tuesday, with a positivity rate of 5%.

There are 379 Rhode Islanders currently hospitalized with the virus, 48 people are in the ICU and 36 are on a ventilator.
