Rhode Island reports 92 new positive cases, 2 more deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I.(WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health announced 92 new positive cases of COVID-19 and two deaths on Tuesday.

RIDOH reports 5,347 tests were taken on Monday with a positivity rate of 1.7%.

As of Tuesday, 82 Rhode Islanders hospitalized due to COVID-19, 10 in the ICU, and seven are on a ventilator.

The death toll in the state is now 1,099 and total positive cases are now at 24,044.
