RIDOH reports 948 new cases of COVID-19, 14 additional fatalities
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 948 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 14 fatalities on Wednesday.
Out of the 13,598 tests taken on Wednesday RIDOH reported a 7% positivity rate.
A total of 1,498 Rhode Islanders have died from the virus.
466 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. 48 are in the ICU and 25 are on a ventilator.
Rhode Island Governor Raimondo is set to give her weekly coronavirus briefing Thursday at 1 p.m.
