RIDOT announces closure of Route 146 on-ramps in Lincoln

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is urging commuters to seek alternate routes as on-ramps for Route-146 are being closed until further notice.

According to the department, the on-ramps at Route-146 North and South, before and after Breakneck Hill road are closed for bridge work.

Officials said police will be on-site for the first 24 hours at both on-ramps.

Commuters are asked to follow signed detours.
