PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation visited the Saint Antoine Residence in North Smithfield on May 3 to present a ceremonial $66,700 Capital Grant Program check for the installation of a new nurse call light system.

The call system will serve as an important communication link between residents and caregivers at the nursing home, RIHEBC Executive Director Kim Mooers said.

“The new system will help ensure that our nurses are aware when residents are experiencing an issue they need assistance with,” Saint Antoine Residence Executive Director Garrett Sullivan said. “We deeply appreciate RIHEBC’s support in helping us meet our mission of providing quality, compassionate care to our residents.”
