RIPTA: 9 routes detoured due to snow

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is detouring nine routes Friday morning, February 13th, due to unplowed secondary roads.
Routes 1, 3, 6, 18, 27, 29, 58, 87, and 92 are on currently on detour.
RIPTA will continue to restore service on those routes as conditions allow and will also advise riders of any other detours due to the storm. Passengers are encouraged to check www.RIPTA.com for updates throughout the day.
The following routes are on detour:
Route 1 (
Northbound trips after RI Hospital will travel to
Northbound trips from the East Side Tunnel will travel the regular route to
Southbound trips will travel the regular route to
Route 3 (
Inbound trips after RI Hospital will travel to
Route 6 (
No service to CCRI Providence campus, buses will stay on
Route 18 (
Trips will not service
Outbound trips will travel the regular route to
Route 27 (Broadway/Manton):
Trips will not service Hillcrest Village Apartments.
Route 29 (
Trips will not service Phenix Hotel; trips will travel the regular route to right on Main Street, right onto Pleasant Street, left onto Highland Street, left onto Main Street and then resume regular route.
Route 58 (Mineral Spring/North Prov):
Trips to Georgiaville Manor are by request ONLY.
Route 87 (Fairmount/Walnut Hill):
Trips will not service
Inbound and Outbound trips will use
Route 92 (RI College/ Federal Hill/East Side):

Westbound trips from East Side Market Place will travel the regular route to left onto
