RIPTA to follow holiday schedule for Victory Day Monday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority said it will run its Sunday/holiday service schedule on Monday in recognition of Victory Day.

RIPTA said that all fixed-route buses and trolleys will follow the schedule, and all offices except the Customer Service Kiosk at the Newport Transportation Center will be closed.

In addition, Flex Service will only be available for Route 203 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Flex Service reservation line will also be closed.

Users of the RIde Program will need to make reservations for trips on the holiday before Monday, as the reservation line will also be closed.
