RIPTA to hold two public hearings on proposed service changes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority will hold two public hearings this week on suggested service changes to Route 14 and 282 Flex.

The transportation agency is proposing to change Route 14 to serve the Wickford Junction Train Station and to extend 282 Flex service to Dino’s Park-N-Shop in the Chepachet section of Glocester.

The hearings are scheduled for 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday at Burrillville Town Hall and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at North Kingstown Town Hall.

The community is encouraged to attend to voice any concerns and questions.
