RISPCA hosts grand opening of new Warwick location

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held a grand opening ceremony for its new home on Plan Way in Warwick Thursday.
President Wayne Kezirian said the weather “could not have been more beautiful” as he addressed the crowd of supporters at the new location, which will now house all shelter operations including adoptions, the animal health center, humane education, animal cruelty law enforcement, a pet food pantry, and a volunteer program.
The organization thanked Warwick’s municipal government as well as the supporters and volunteers who helped ready the new location.
The new location at 155 Plan Way is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The RISPCA’s East Providence location is now closed.
