Robinson Cano Back In Yankees Lineup

Yankees' Cano back in lineup a day after beaning

NEW YORK (AP) – Robinson Cano is back in the lineup for the New
York Yankees a day after getting hit in the helmet by a pitch.
He left the game Wednesday night when a pitch from Kansas City's
Nathan Adcock knocked his helmet off his head and sent him
sprawling in the dirt.
The Yankees second baseman went for a CT scan on Wednesday
night, and saw more doctors on Thursday, including a neurologist
who gave him the final clearance to play.
Cano said he didn't know if he would have to wear one of the
larger size batting helmets, like the one teammate Francisco
Cervelli has worn after having a concussion.
Manager Joe Girardi put Cano in the lineup Wednesday, batting in
his usual fifth spot.
