Roger Williams University professor buys ‘Caddyshack’ boat
NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — A marketing professor from Roger Williams University is bring the “Caddyshack” boat to the Ocean State.
Jay Oliver recently purchased the boat from his friend who is a boat broker.
“When he sent this to me, he said, ‘This could be something really interesting that you and your family can enjoy’,” explained Oliver. “When it’s not in use, it can offset some expenses and even make a little money.”
The heirloom from the American classic is in South Carolina. Oliver plans to move it to Narragansett soon and make it into an Airbnb.
While not in use, he plans on using it for leisure with his family.
“When you wake up and see the sun rise and see the sun set on the water, it changes your world view and I want [my family] to have that,” he finished.
