Roof collapses in 2-alarm New Bedford fire

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Fire officials are still on the scene at 91 Adams St., New Bedford where a two alarm fire caused a roof to collapse.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. Saturday. The roof collapsed on the two-and-a-half story building, but no one was injured, according to fire officials.
Firefighters were spotted at the scene at the building over 12 hours later. They told ABC News that the building started smoking again due to the collapsed roof.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
