Route 140 repair work in New Bedford set for Friday
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that crews will be conducting drainage and erosion repairs on Route 140 in New Bedford.
The repairs will take place on Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and should be completed in one day.
MassDOT said that the drain work will take place on Route 140 southbound at the exit 2 on-ramp to I-195 westbound, while the the erosion work will take place on Route 140 northbound at the exit 3 off-ramp to Hathaway Boulevard.
Right lane closures will take place with the roadway remaining open at all times.
Drivers should reduce speed and use caution.
