Route 6 East Glenbridge Avenue Bridge closed next week for overnight repairs

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The RIDOT has announced the temporary closure of the Glenbridge Avenue Bridge on Route 6 East for overnight repairs on March 6 and March 8.

The construction is to replace a bean that was damaged last year by a truck.

The work will happen overnight and in the early morning hours, detours will be in place from midnight to 5 a.m.

All traffic will exit at Killing Street, a detour will bring them to the Route 6A to get back on Route 6 East.
