RV bursts into flames on interstate 295, backing up traffic

A camper bursts into flames on interstate 295 just past exit 3 in Cranston backing up traffic for miles, shutting down lanes on the highway for two hours.

Three people were inside the RV when it caught fire around 7 p.m. Tuesday night. Everyone who lived in the RV was able to escape without any injuries, but the camper was a total loss.

Officials say the fire is under investigation.
