SBA says nearly 8000 disaster loan applicants potentially had their information exposed to other applicants
An SBA official said the affected applicants were notified and offer one year of free credit monitoring.

The Small Business Administration confirms that the personal information of nearly 8000 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) applicants was potentially exposed to other applicants on the SBA’s loan application site.
“We immediately disabled the impacted portion of the website, addressed the issue, and relaunched the application portal,” said SBA spokesperson Carol Wilkerson.
An SBA official said the affected applicants were notified and offer one year of free credit monitoring.
