School districts to add reopening plans to their websites

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – With schools planned to open on August 31st, school districts will be posting reopening plans to their website on Friday.

The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) had schools initially submit their plans by July 17, for review and feedback.

Feedback would be given to each school on an ongoing basis through July 28.

Given the fluidity of the situation, RIDE acknowledged the possibility of multiple reopening scenarios, ranging from limited to full in-person instruction.
