Scituate police say a man was stabbed by his daughter’s boyfriend

SCITUATE, RI (WLNE) – Police in Scituate are investigating a stabbing that happened Wednesday at a home on Rolling Green Drive.

Police say they responded to the home around 12:07 p.m. and found the victim suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Police say 19-year-old Timothy Isom Jr. of Johnston stabbed his girlfriend’s father during an argument then Isom and the girl ran off together.

After a short pursuit police were able to track the couple down in Cranston.

Isom was charged with felony assault and is being held at the ACI.

The stabbing victim is recovering.
