Search Is On For Cranston Burglary Suspect
Cranston Police are looking for a man they say entered a home as the residents were sleeping, then assault one of them when he was discovered in the home.
Police were called to a home on Turin Street early Thursday morning, by a resident who'd been attacked by the intruder. Police say the suspect entered the home through the front door, which may not have been locked at the time.
The victim suffered head and facial injuries, and is in stable condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
The suspect, described at a white male, approximately 5'8″ tall with a thing build, is still on the run. He is said to have light brown or dirty blond hair, and was seen wearing dark clothing. He got away with a cell phone and a man's wallet.
