Second case of Omicron variant identified in Rhode Island, RIDOH says

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health said on Wednesday that there is a second confirmed case of the Omicron variant in Rhode Island.

RIDOH said that the second case was not something that was surprising to them, given it’s presence in the region and it’s transmissibility.
