Second Man Convicted in Providence Double Murder

ABC6 News has learned Raymond Clements has been convicted of murder and arson, in the deaths of two cousins in Providence in 2007.

A jury found Clements guilty in the case on their third day of deliberations in Providence Superior Court.

Clements was charged in connection with the murders of Amanda Sousa and Heather Jesus, two young women from Providence, and also with starting a fire to try and cover up the crimes.

Clements' accomplice, A.J. Carter, plead guilty last year.
