A spokesman for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport says it appears a “drug induced situation'' prompted a man in his 20s to bolt through a security checkpoint Friday.

Spokesman Perry Cooper says the man ran down a concourse and out onto the tarmac and was arrested in an empty airplane. He was not armed and no other airport operations were affected.
