Seekonk Fire Chief charged with domestic assault

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- The Seekonk Fire Chief was arrested on Friday night in Cranston and was charged with domestic simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Chief David Rave, 52, was arrested at his home in Cranston around 10 p.m. on Friday night, according to the police report.

Police were sent to Rave’s home after hearing reports of a “male breaking things in the apartment and he also struck a female.”

According to the police report, the woman had bruises on her leg and there was damage done to the apartment.

Rave was charged with two misdemeanor counts and release on $1,000 personal recognizance.
