Seekonk Police arrest 4, recover stolen firearm

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) – Four Rhode Island men were arrested on charges including possession of a stolen firearm.

A Seekonk Police K9 Unit observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Motel 6 on Fall River Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop, Police found the car to be occupied by four males.

The Seekonk Police Sergeant and his K9 partner Zuzo conducted a exterior sniff of the vehicle, followed by a probable cause search of the vehicle’s interior.

The search led police to discover a stolen Glock firearm, loaded with a high capacity magazine, as well as ski masks, gloves, a hammer, and black zip ties.

The occupants of the vehicle, identified as Angel Otero, 26, and Justin Tallo, 29, both of Warwick, and Angel Reyes, 21, and George Miller, 25, of Providence were arrested on charges including:

  • Possession of a loaded firearm without a license
  • Possession of a large capacity firearm
  • Possession of a large capacity feeding device
  • Possession of burglarious tools
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Transport of a firearm into the Commonwealth to commit a criminal act
  • Conspiracy to commit a felony

The suspects will be arraigned Tuesday in Taunton District Court.

The incident remains under investigation.
