Seekonk Police Chief retires

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) – The Chief of Seekonk Police Department tended his resignation Thursday.  

The Seekonk Board of Selectmen voted to accept the resignation of Seekonk Police Chief Frank John at their meeting Wednesday evening.

According to a separation agreement, John will be paid for 349 vacation, administration, and sick hours.

John will be placed on sick leave until July 31, the effective date of his resignation.

Deputy Chief David Enos will continue to run the department in the meantime.
