Sens. Reed, Whitehouse Flagship Bus showcased Rhode Island’s first electric coach bus
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse joined the Flagship Bus on Thursday morning to showcase Rhode Island’s first electric coach bus.
Those busses were used in the Ocean State for tour and charter services.
The new Van Hool CX45E motorcoach is a zero-emission bus that was built specifically to reduce carbon levels.
The company displayed the new bus at its headquarters in Cranston at 11 a.m.
