Senate Committee on Rules, Government Oversight & Ethics to meet Monday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Senate Committee on Rules, Government Oversight & Ethics will meet virtually through WebEx on Monday, February 28 at 5:30 p.m. to review the effort to turnaround Providence Public Schools.

The Committee, chaired by Senator Louis P. Dipalma and will feature testimonies from:

  • Angélica Infante-Green – Commissioner, Rhode Island Department of Education
  • Ramona Santos Torres – Co-Founder & Executive Director, Parents Leading for Educational Equity

  •  Alexis Lamb, Co-chair, Parent Advisory Council

  •  Precious E. Lopez, Executive Director, Providence Student Union

  • Chanda Womack, Founding Executive Director, ARISE (Alliance of Rhode Island Southeast Asians for Education)

The meeting will be streamed live on the RI Legislation website through Capitol Television.
