Senate Republican caucus asks to reopen I-95 Welcome Center

The Rhode Island Senate Republican caucus has asked the Department of Transportation to consider reopening the I-95 North Welcome Center in Richmond.

The caucus believes that reopening the center would have a positive affect on Rhode Island‘s image as a business and tourist-friendly state.

The caucus is interested in working with the DOT and the Secretary of Commerce to think of ways to reopen the center.
