Seven arrested in New Bedford drug bust

A big-time drug bust in New Bedford landed seven people behind bars Saturday.
An ongoing investigation by members of the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau led them to an apartment at 10 Acushnet Avenue where they seized 72 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of heroin, and a $627 in cash.
Two men that lived in the apartment, 19-year-old Calvin Cepeda-Smith, and 37-year-old David Carrion, were arrested and charged with drug trafficking charges.
Police also arrested five others who showed up to the apartment to buy drugs. Manuel Raynerio, 20, Charles Ammon Sr., 51, Deborah Houle, 57, Brent Doucette, 34, and Rachel Arraiol, 33, were charged with possession of cocaine.
