Several breweries team up to help burned down Rehoboth business

Several breweries raising money for burned down Rehoboth business

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE)- A business that took 5 years to build was burned to the ground in just 5 hours.

On Saturday a commercial building that was once home to Anawan Brewery, was completely destroyed by a fire.

Now several brewers in southern New England are teaming up to help a member of their community.

Nathan Cinelli, owner of Skyroc Brewery in Attleboro, is creating a special beer called Anawan Roc(k) in honor of the Rehoboth business.

The beer will be released in a few weeks and all proceeds will go toward helping the burned down brewery.

“There’s a lot of symbolism there, Anawan Roc(k) being a historical location in Rehoboth and brewed by Skyroc we’re their brothers in the brewing industry and we just wanted to help them out,” Cinelli said.

Breweries in The Ocean State are helping out as well.

Narragansett Brewery in Providence announced on their Instagram that all of their net proceeds on Monday, February 21st will go toward Anawan.

If you can’t make it out to the breweries, you can help by donating to a GoFundMe page ran by the owners family members.
