Shots fired outside Providence home

The Providence Police department responds to a report of shots fired outside a home Saturday morning where at least one person was inside at the time.

Police tell ABC 6 they received a call at 2:12 am on May 16 to 122 Bath Street where shots were fired.

They say at least one person was inside the house sleeping at the time of the shooting but was not injured.

No other injuries were reported and the person inside, whose identity Police would not reveal, was not able to see a person or vehicle during the shooting.

Officials found 7 shell casings outside the home and bullet holes on the house.

No arrests were made. The cause and motive is unknown and the case is under investigation.
