Sink-hole diverts traffic in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A large sink-hole opened up early Friday morning on the 1400 block of Cranston Street in Cranston, forcing traffic to find a detour.

Cranston Police are re-directing drivers to nearby Park Avenue.

According to the Cranston Public Works Department, the sink-hole occurred over a storm drain man-hole, making it a lengthy repair process.
