Slick roads, ponding making for a messy morning commute

By: Melissa Randall
After snow, rain, and dipping temperatures there is a concern Friday morning for slick roads.
The snow from this latest storm clogged up drains- trapping water in the roadways. The ponding is making for some tricky travel.
Much of the snow was cleared from the highways and major roads overnight. Crews are still out working on the side streets. The issue now is all that water.
Snow clogged drains are leaving now place for the melting snow and rain to go. Some side streets look more like rivers or ponds.
“I turned around the guy needed a row boat paddle thing it was huge,” one woman said.
Parking bans are still in effect in many communities.
