Smithfield Little League continues journey in World Series

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — The Smithfield Little League is back in action Friday in Game 2 at the Little League World Series.

They’ll face the Southeast Region representatives from Tennessee at 3 p.m. in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Smithfield won its first game Wednesday  3-1 over Nevada.

Connor Curtis had 15 strikeouts in 5 1-3 innings.
