Soaker of a Sunday

After a cloudy Saturday, we will only add to the unsettled weather for Sunday. A strong cold front will be moving slowly through Southern New England late tonight through the first half of Sunday. As a result, we are expecting areas of locally heavy rainfall, the chance of thunderstorms and the possibility of an inch or more of rainfall. Sunday afternoon will see improvement, but will still be cloudy with patchy fog. Sunday temperatures will top out slightly cooler than average in the upper-50s. Monday will be mainly dry with a blend of sun and clouds and the slight chance of an evening shower. Mostly sunny skies return for midweek with highs near 60. Unsettled weather with showers look to finish out the workweek.
