Somerset police search for pair accused of trying to break into boat

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — Police in Somerset are searching for two people accused of trying to break into a boat last week.

The department posted video surveillance footage and photos of two men wearing T-shirts and shorts trespassing onto a private dock on Wednesday.

Police said the dock is blocked off with locks and multiple signs.

The men are accused of trying to break into a boat, breaking three lights, and tossing statues of a turtle and an owl into the water.

Police are looking to identify both of the men, but said the main suspect is the man in front with long hair, a mustache and goatee, and a sleeve tattoo.
