South Kingstown Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect in a gas station robbery.

Police say a man walked into the One Energy gas station on Tower Hill Road just before 8:00 Saturday night, demanding cash with a screwdriver in hand.

He got away with an unknown amount of cash in a red, four-door hatch back that looked like either a Toyota Matrix or Mazda 3 with a Rhode Island plate.

The suspect is described as being about 5’6” – 5’8” tall, with a medium build, light blue jeans, a dark long-sleeved shirt with white striped sleeves, a dark bandana covering his face and a dark hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Kingstown Police Detectives at 401-783-3321.
