Southern New Englanders grab a Dunkin’ iced coffee for a cause

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday is Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day in Southern New England.

Dunkin’ Donuts locations across Rhode Island and Bristol County will donate $1 from every iced coffee sold to Hasbro Children’s Hospital. It’s all through the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.

Well-known Rhode Islanders will be working the drive-thru and counters to celebrate the fundraiser.

Lt. Gov. Sabina Matos will visit the Dunkin’ at 246 South Main St. in Woonsocket at 7 a.m. and the location at 251 Smith St. in Providence at 8 a.m.

Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien will be at the location at 227 Armistice Blvd in Pawtucket at 11:15 a.m.

University of Rhode Island men’s basketball coach, Archie Miller, along with players and mascots, will be at the Dunkin’ at 1241 Ten Rod Rd in North Kingstown.
