Sox Activate Bucholz and Lowrie From DL

BOSTON, MA The Boston Red Sox today activated right-handed pitcher Clay Buchholz from the 15-day disabled list and infielder Jed Lowrie from the 60-day disabled list. The club also optioned left-handed pitcher Dustin Richardson to Triple-A Pawtucket following last night's game and today designated first baseman Ryan Shealy for assignment. Buchholz is slated to start today's game in Oakland and Lowrie is in the lineup at shortstop. With today's move, the Red Sox 40-man roster is now at 38.
