PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Providence Board of Licenses met Monday morning and extended the review of the Sport’s Tap bar, where a man was shot over the weekend, until Wednesday.

Dylan Conley, Board of Licenses Chair, told ABC6 that the owners of the bar were present at Monday’s meeting and were cooperative.

The Board was unable to find evidence that there was any altercation inside of the bar.

The owners of the bar agreed to remain closed until Wednesday while the Board continues to review security footage.
