Springsteen tour adds 2nd show in Foxborough because of ‘overwhelming demand’

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have added a second show in Foxborough this summer because of an “overwhelming demand” for their 2023 international tour.

The second concert at Gillette Stadium will take place on Aug. 26, along with a return to San Diego, California, on Dec. 2. A show on Aug. 24 was already announced by the band.

Springsteen performed at the TD Garden Monday night.

“The Boss,” who’s 73, started his 2023 international tour on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida, and has had to add other tour dates because of the high demand, including a second night in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco. A third night was also added in New Jersey.

Tickets to his “must see” concert at Gillette are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
